Eight knitted dresses, a map, a wooden coil case for yarn, video documentation, 25:31 min

Bignia Wehrli measured the 7.74 km long route through the fields around her home from Heiletsegg (Holy Corner) to Allenwinden (All Winds) with multi coloured woollen yarn. She then wound the yarn and knitted it into an entire outfit: the mountain into a coat, the river into a scarf, the tree into a glove. The colour of the thread changed based on altitude, from russet (720 MAMSL) through to violet (1120 MAMSL), changing every 40 metres according to the order of the rainbow. Thus, the garments can be read like maps.
